Do I need an internet connection to use Family Orbit?

Yes, you do need an Internet connection to use Family Orbit. The app uses your phone’s Internet connection (4G/3G/2G or Wi-Fi, as available) to send and receive location based notifications, Check in and Pick Up location updates, real time location, share photos, and more.

An Internet connection is also required to upload activity logs to the server, and this information is then displayed in the Dashboard.
