How to Get Started with Family Orbit

Getting started with Family Orbit is quick and straightforward. Follow these steps to set up monitoring for your child’s devices.

Step 1: Sign Up and Choose a Subscription

If you haven’t signed up yet, visit our Sign-Up Page and create your account.

1. Select a Subscription Plan:

   • Monthly Plan: Short-term monitoring.
   • Quarterly Plan: Affordable for mid-term needs.
   • Annual Plan: Best value for long-term monitoring.
     Each subscription allows monitoring of up to 5 devices, including devices for multiple children.

2. Start Your Free Trial:
   Explore all features of Family Orbit during the free trial period before committing.

Step 2: Log In to Your Family Orbit Account

Use the email and password you registered with to log in to the Family Orbit online panel.

Step 3: Complete the Setup Wizard

When you log in for the first time, the Setup Wizard will guide you through the following steps:

1. Enter License Key: Use the license key from your purchase email.
2. Add Child Information: Provide your child’s first and last name and confirm your consent to monitor your underage child.
3. Select Device Type: Choose whether your child uses an Android or iPhone.

Step 4: Set Up Monitoring Based on the Device

For Android Devices

• Receive a download link and setup instructions to install the Family Orbit app on your child’s phone.
• Follow the Android Setup Guide for step-by-step instructions.

For iPhones

Choose one of the following monitoring methods:

1. The App Method:

   • Scan the QR code provided in the Setup Wizard using your child’s phone.
   • Download the Family Orbit Child app from the App Store.
   • Log in, configure the app, and start monitoring instantly.
   • Follow our App Setup Guide.

2. WiFi Sync Method:

   • Install the Family Orbit desktop app on your computer.
   • Set up the child’s iPhone to sync over WiFi.
   • No app installation on the iPhone is required.
   • Follow our WiFi Sync Setup Guide.

3. iCloud Log Retrieval Method:

   • Enter your child’s Apple ID credentials in the online panel.
   • Select the child’s device to retrieve logs directly from iCloud.
   • This method does not require access to the phone.

Step 5: Start Monitoring

Once the setup is complete, Family Orbit will begin monitoring your child’s device. You can access logs and insights from the online panel at any time.
